The Leishmaniasis Virtual Lab

The Leishmaniasis Virtual Laboratory is an open, collaborative research environment for molecular surveillance of Leishmania and their vectors with online tools.

Cardiovascular Simulation Services

We've taken a cardiac Electromechanical model and integrated it with a Arterial Blood Flow model. This unique environment will help cardiologists and researchers understand the cardiovascular system which keeps blood flowing around the body

Measuring the relation between biodiversity and climate change with an online app

How is biodiversity and its ecosystems buffering climate change? Different tools integrated within a unique scientific gateway will help research institutions, companies and professionals to understand how to reduce the effects of climate change.

A Federated environment
Thanks to the collaboration between European and Brazilian research centres the project leverages a set of components for the use of supercomputing, private cloud and cloud opportunistic resources.

Our Data Sources

EUBrazil Cloud Connect applications involve complex workflows and access to huge datasets in Brazil and Europe. But just where does all the data come from? These large data sets span sequences from existing leishmania and sand fly collections, clinical data from hospitals and biomedical research centres, meteorological data from land surface monitoring stations, satellite images, and other biodiversity data sources. EUBrazil Cloud Connect is driving co-operation between Brazil and Europe to turn this data into smart data and generate new knowledge.
