Cloud Interoperability and Elasticity with COMPSs at the Interoperability Demo Days and Virtual Cloud Plugfest, London

Daniele Lezzi from Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), presented on 12th December 2014 a new demo of the COMPSs framework at the Interoperability Demo Days and Virtual Cloud Plugfest, held in London.

COMPSs is a task-based programming model known for notably improving the performance of large-scale applications by automatically parallelising their execution.

This new COMPSs demo updates the results of the team’s efforts over the last few years to provide a set of tools that helps developers program and execute their applications efficiently on distributed computational infrastructures such as clusters, grids and clouds.

In this presentation Daniele Lezzi outlines COMPSs programming model, tools and infrastructure with special emphasis on interoperability.
