Newcastle EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training - recruiting for intensive course in the Cloud Computing sector

The Newcastle University Central Doctoral Training is recruiting students from both Computing Science and Mathematics/Statistics backgrounds and providing an intensive course of interdisciplinary training during Year 1 of the four year PhD programme in the Cloud Computing sector.

This initiative will build the next generation of experts in the analysis of "big data" using advanced statistical methodologies and the latest cloud computing technologies, addressing an acute worldwide skills shortage.

EPSRC Overseas Travel Grants

Overseas Travel Grants, available through the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), provide funding for international travel and subsistence to study new techniques at recognised centres outside the UK, and travel to develop international collaborations. Centre visits may be to overseas universities or industrial organisations.

Joint Research Centre in partnership with the CNPq grants scholarships postdoctoral - PDE

The Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Union in partnership with the CNPq, under the Science without Borders program, awards grants postdoctoral - PDE in their institutes, through submission of proposals for international  mobility. The scholarships are intended for candidates of Brazilian nationality, performance and proven academic potential and who wish to develop their projects for postdoctoral research in the following areas: Agricultural Sciences, Energy, Environment, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, and Information Security.
