Currently develops projects involving systematics and ecology of neotropical sand flies and population genetics of Lutzomyia longipalpis. Ph. D. obtained at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (2014) and master's degree in Biological Sciences (2009) at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. Graduated in Biological Sciences (2006) and Bachelor of Biological Sciences (2007) at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. Expertise in Zoology with an emphasis in Medical Entomology, acting on the following topics: population genetics, taxonomy and systematics of sand flies, vertebrate reservoirs and Leishmania invertebrates, leishmaniasis, American visceral leishmaniasis.
